Google Stitch = Meh. Framer Workshop = šŸ˜

Last week, the design world got both ends of the spectrum. We got Google's Stitch—a cautious, corporate toe-dip into design AI. And honestly, it's aggressively "meh."

It's functional, it's fine, but it's not exactly inspiring anyone to push boundaries.

And then there's Framer Workshop…

Workshop feels like AI done right. It's genuinely delightful, and clearly built by people who deeply understand (and care about) designers. While everyone races to build generative UI design end-to-end, Framer confidently dropped a product that actually helps your workflow instead of trying to replace it.

Between these launches, it feels like we're hitting an inflection point: careful incrementalism versus inspired innovation. And right now, inspired innovation is definitely winning.

Here were some of our favorite experiments in Framer Workshop:

Coca-Cola’s New Vitaminwater Logo Hides a Brilliant Typographic Detail

Coca-Cola’s updated branding for Vitaminwater introduces a sleek new logo and packaging system — but there’s more than meets the eye. A subtle typographic shift embeds the ā€œvitaminā€ wordmark into the label with greater nuance and harmony, showing how even small design moves can redefine shelf presence. This is a compelling example of brand evolution done right.
